About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cluster Hotel Sales Manager to oversee sales efforts across multiple hotel properties in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in hospitality sales to drive revenue, develop client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our hotel portfolio.
As the Cluster Sales Manager, you will play a key role in promoting the hotels to corporate clients, event organizers, and individual travelers. You will be responsible for increasing bookings, maximizing revenue, and meeting sales targets across the cluster of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase bookings, room sales, and event revenue across multiple hotels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on trends and competitor activity.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and action plans to senior management.
- Coordinate with hotel management teams to ensure seamless delivery of services for guests and clients.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to promote the hotels and generate leads.
- Lead and mentor the sales teams at each property, ensuring alignment with overall sales goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a hotel sales management role, preferably in a cluster or multi-property setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Manchester hospitality market and key business sectors.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus on client relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and hotel booking platforms (e.g., Opera, SalesForce).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.
- A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Flexibility to travel between properties when required.
