The Nare Hotel, Veryan-in-Roseland, Cornwall have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Operations Director to join their successful team and drive the hotel forward whilst maintaining their strong, valuable culture and fantastic service levels. You should be a strong leader with a clear vision for customer service and values with an understanding of why our “country house by the sea” is a popular location for both national and international clients. 

The hotel offers 46 well-appointed rooms and suites, The Dining Room and The Quarterdeck Seafood Restaurant, with a broad range of leisure facilities including tennis, croquet, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a small spa with two treatment rooms. The hotel has a 38’ motor launch which takes guests on day excursions. There is a walled flower-garden 5 miles inland which produces for the hotel floral displays. 

The loyal team are crucial to the success of the hotel. The Operations Director should possess a passion for achievement through having the right people in the right place delivering a brilliant service to all guests. The Operations Director of the Nare Hotel will take full operational responsibility for the commercial performance of the business, and to provide leadership for the team. Guiding the development of the hotel into the future, they anticipate this appointment will be a long-term commitment for both parties. This is not a role which will provide simply a maintaining function but one which will be charged with driving the hotel forward to the next level in terms of standards, performance and reputation.
