Waiting Staff – Hospitality Excellence in the Heart of Baslow
Location: Baslow
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour + service charge (up to £3,000 per year)
Hours: 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends)
We’re looking for professional and passionate Waiting Staff to join a beautifully run, prestigious restaurant in the charming village of Baslow. About the Role:
As a key member of the front-of-house team, you'll ensure a warm welcome for every guest and help deliver an exceptional dining experience across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. This is a full-time position, worked on a rota including evenings and weekends.
You’ll be working alongside a dedicated and friendly team, maintaining the presentation of the restaurant and lounge areas and ensuring every service runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality food and beverage service throughout the day
Setting up and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and lounges
Polishing cutlery, crockery and glassware to a high standard
Preparing and resetting tables for service
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
Creating a welcoming atmosphere and responding to guest needs with professionalism and care
What We’re Looking For:
Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is desirable, but not essential – full training can be provided
A positive attitude and a strong team ethic
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering outstanding service
Well-presented and professional appearance
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
