Senior Chef de Rang Ideal Profile:
- Experience: Prior experience in Michelin-starred/Rosette or 5-star dining environments, demonstrating familiarity with high standards of service and culinary presentation.
- Guest Engagement: A natural ability to engage with guests, ensuring all interactions are courteous, professional, and exceed expectations.
- Efficiency Under Pressure: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure, maintaining composure and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate menu details and understand guest needs.
- Professionalism: Displays a polished and professional attitude at all times, representing the prestigious image of the business.
- Teamwork: Works well within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a cooperative work environment.
Senior Chef de Rang Key Responsibilities:
- Service Preparation: Ensure the restaurant is efficiently set up for service, and food and beverages are served to guests with elegance and precision.
- Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with the Head Waiter to meet and exceed customer expectations, adapting to guest needs and providing personalized service.
- Service Item Preparation: Prepare service items like sugar trays, wet napkins, service plates, and cutlery ahead of each service according to the function sheet.
- Station Management: Take responsibility for a designated service station, ensuring it is fully equipped and operational for service.
- Menu Knowledge: Become fully conversant with all menu items, understanding the presentation, accompaniments, and variations to confidently inform guests.
- Luxury Standards: Uphold the luxury standards in every aspect of service, contributing to the hotel’s reputation as a benchmark in the hospitality industry.
