The Role: Staffing Coordinator

As a Staffing Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in identifying, attracting, and engaging with skilled candidates for contract catering roles such as chefs, kitchen assistants, general assistants, cleaners, and baristas. You’ll collaborate closely with our recruitment consultants to build a steady pipeline of high-quality candidates, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for various roles
• Build and maintain a talent pool of chefs, kitchen assistants, general assistants, cleaners, and baristas for current and future vacancies
• Use online job boards, social media, and internal databases to source candidates
• Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate suitability for kitchen and catering environments
• Assist with the recruitment process, including setting up interviews and preparing candidate profiles
• Develop strong relationships with both candidates and clients to ensure smooth communication and seamless placements
• Support consultants in filling urgent vacancies within contract catering contracts
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a resourcing or recruitment role, ideally within hospitality, contract catering, or a fast-paced industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and general catering roles
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for hospitality and people
• Familiarity with sourcing tools like LinkedIn, job boards, and hospitality networks is a plus
