Interim Accounts Assistant – Temporary Placement
We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Assistant to support a busy finance team during a period of leave offering 16–24 hours per week, with some flexibility around working days and hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the purchase ledger confidently and efficiently
Posting bank transactions onto Sage 50 Accounts (transactions downloaded by the Financial Controller)
Performing basic bank reconciliations
Supporting the team with day-to-day finance operations as needed
Using basic Excel functions to assist with reporting and data entry
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts
Previous experience in a similar finance role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good working knowledge of Excel (basic formulas, data entry)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a part-time, short-term role within a friendly and supportive team.
