Sous Chef – Country Pub 

Welshampton, Shropshire 

£18ph (Invoiced Weekly)

We are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at a traditional country pub in Welshampton, Shropshire in a busy country inn.

Minimum 2 weeks' work

£18 per hour (invoiced weekly)

No live-in accommodation available – local applicants or those with transport required

About the Role:
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high standards and delivering quality pub food. This is a hands-on role in a busy kitchen environment, ideal for someone confident and capable of stepping up when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head Chef during service

Lead the kitchen in their absence

Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard

Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety protocols

Assist with stock control and ordering

Help train and support junior kitchen staff

We're looking for someone reliable, professional, and ready to hit the ground running. Immediate start available.
