We’re looking for a passionate and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen in a beautiful café bistro located in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

Head Chef – Café Bistro Concept | Ribble Valley
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
Location: Ribble Valley, Lancashire
Hours: 8am – 5pm | Straight Shifts | No Evenings

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen in a beautiful café bistro located in the heart of the Ribble Valley. If you’re driven by fresh, seasonal produce and want the opportunity to shape a menu in an inspiring countryside setting, this could be the perfect role.

The Role:

Full autonomy over seasonal menu development

Leading and mentoring a small kitchen team

Hands-on cooking with a focus on quality brunch, light lunches, and weekend specials

Stock control, GP management and kitchen organisation

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous ready to step up

A genuine passion for fresh, locally sourced food

Creativity and a love for café/bistro-style dishes

Strong leadership skills and a calm, confident approach in the kitchen

A desire for a better work/life balance – no late nights required
