Lead the Back of House Team at Mint People – Assistant Manager Role
We’re looking for a Back of House Assistant Manager to take the reins, drive growth, and lead our elite kitchen and catering teams across the UK’s top venues. If you know hospitality inside out, thrive under pressure, and have a sharp eye for business growth, this is the role for you.

WHO YOU ARE
✔ A back-of-house pro – you’ve worked in hospitality, catering, or kitchen management and know how to run a tight ship. While experience is a plus, if you bring the right attitude, work ethic, and drive, we’re more than happy to train you up and give you the skills to thrive.

✔ A problem-solver – quick on your feet, calm under pressure, always three steps ahead.

✔ A people person – strong communication with clients, staff, and leadership teams is key.
✔ Ready to hit the road – a full UK driving license is required, as you’ll be hands-on across multiple locations (expenses covered).
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Running back-of-house operations – overseeing kitchen and catering teams at multiple venues.
- Planning & scheduling – ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
- Driving growth – identifying opportunities, bringing in new business, and expanding the division.
- Recruiting top talent – selecting and training the best chefs, kitchen staff, and catering pros.
- Ensuring compliance – maintaining top-tier standards in food hygiene, health & safety, and legal requirements.
- Building strong client relationships – understanding their needs and ensuring seamless service.
- Problem-solving on the fly – stepping in to ensure every event runs without a hitch.
