Operations Manager;
Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of a 75+ bedroom hotel and spa, oversee across all departments, ensuring efficiency, high standards, and effective performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and support Heads of Departments in driving sales, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manage staff rotas, control labour costs, and monitor food, liquor, and stock costs.
- Understand banking procedures and ensure financial operations align with business needs.
- Collaborate on sales activities, marketing strategies, and event organisation with relevant teams.
- Assist with client show rounds in the absence of the Sales team.
- Develop, monitor, and enforce SOP manuals, ensuring Heads of Departments properly train their teams.
- Promote cross-selling and continuous improvement in service standards and profitability.
- Address wage queries, holiday entitlements, and manage staff performance and capability issues.
- Act as Duty Manager when required, overseeing guest services, health and safety, and operational tasks such as staff management and cash handling.
- Ensure equal opportunities, maintain professional confidentiality, and comply with fire, health, and safety regulations.
Person Specification:

- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to meet targets and deadlines –
- Strong multi-level communication skills, maintaining strong links with clients, customers, and employees
