Restaurant Manager Ideal Profile:
- Proven track record managing a high-end restaurant, preferably within a luxury hotel setting, demonstrating expertise in delivering superior dining experiences
- Holds a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, providing a strong theoretical foundation in restaurant operations.
- Possesses an innate ability to anticipate and meet guests’ needs, ensuring every interaction enhances their overall dining experience
- Experienced in leading, motivating, and developing a team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages staff excellence and retention
- Skilled in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing profitability while maintaining the highest standards of service and quality
- Able to effectively manage multiple tasks, address and resolve operational challenges, and ensure smooth restaurant operations
Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all services meet the high standards expected in a luxury environment
- Proactively interact with guests to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure a memorable dining experience, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, schedule shifts, conduct performance evaluations, and develop training programs to elevate service standards
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop and update menus, ensuring offerings are aligned with guest preferences and seasonal availability
- Manage the restaurant’s budget, control inventory, and analyze financial performance to meet revenue and cost targets
- Collaborate with the hotel’s marketing team to promote the restaurant, develop special events and promotions, and maintain the restaurant’s prestigious image
