We are seeking a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join a spa team at a luxury hotel in the North East. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional spa experiences for the hotel guests and members, working closely with the experienced team and Spa Director.

As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for welcoming guests into the spa, ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment they arrive. You’ll provide top-quality treatments and offer expert product recommendations to enhance their overall experience.

Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver treatments according to agreed protocols from the spas product houses and Spa Director.
• Enhance the guest experience by recommending and retailing products used during treatments.
• Maintain immaculate presentation of the spa, changing rooms, and treatment areas.
• Interact professionally with guests, staff, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with the Spa Manager and Spa Director to address operational challenges and guest feedback

Ideal profile for Spa Therapist:

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Maintain accurate client records.
• Collaborate with the Hotel Reception and Leisure teams to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Ensure spa facilities remain clean, tidy, and comfortable.
• Immaculate personal presentation and high standards of hygiene.
• Maintain well-stocked and clean treatment areas.
• Deliver exceptional treatments, including massage & facials
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
• Complete daily task sheets and maximize treatment availability.

Education:

• Hold a Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of spa experience in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Experience with Natura Bisse and Germaine de Capuccini products is a plus, though training will be provided.
