Mint People are a leading supplier of Hospitality and Catering staff operating nationwide from our Head Office in Warrington. The lynchpin of this process is our team of Staffing Coordinators, piecing the puzzle together and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
We currently work with leading operators supplying bartenders to work at high volume bars and boutique spaces at the nations favourite events. You will find our team at events such as Brighton Pride, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Victorious, Sundown, In It Together and many more incredible events.
We are looking to add to our team of staffing coordinators in our festivals and outdoor events division on a temporary contract with an immediate start through to September. At the end of the contract there may be potential for the right candidate to either stick with the business although this may involve transferring to another department.
During the 7 months, this will be a full time, salaried role and is not for the faint hearted. We need motivated self starters to join our team and hit the ground running.
Duties will involve, but are not limited to;
- Looking after your own events from start to finish
- Screening, interviewing and recruitment of team members to work at events
- Checking right to work in the UK and ensuring compliance is adhered to
- Scheduling staff into work
- "On Call" Duties, making sure staff are attending shift on the day and liaising with onsite contacts
- Liaising with clients regarding events and staff requirements
- Attending site to check staff in, and deal with any welfare issues
- Ensuring timesheets are completed on site
- Processing timesheets to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time
- Liaising with clients regarding pay queries
- Attending meetings with clients as and when required
The required skills for the position are;
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Confidence
- Ability to converse with applicants
- Good telephone manner
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is preferred. Must be willing to travel to events around the country
This position reports into the divisional Operations Manager. This is a demanding role working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekend work and some early starts/late finishes.
This role will be predominantly office based to begin with whilst the emphasis is on bulk recruitment. As the season gets up and running you may find yourself on site significantly more. This can vary week on week though.
