### 👨‍🍳 Sous Chef – Penrith

We are looking for an experienced **Sous Chef** to join a small, welcoming country pub in the **Penrith area**. This is an **immediate start** with **ongoing work available** , and **accommodation is provided**.

**Responsibilities include:**

- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen

- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to a consistent standard

- Helping to manage and motivate the kitchen team

- Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness standards are maintained

- Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation

- Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

Previous Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie experience is essential, along with a good work ethic and the ability to work well in a busy kitchen.
